Our cruise holidays are typically on sale before airlines release details of their flight times, so your Jet2.com charter flight times and numbers will be displayed on your booking confirmation. The same applies for those guests taking advantage of our regional flights from London Heathrow.

When confirmed, your flight information will also be available to view via the 'My Cruises' section of our website.

Our Mediterranean fly cruises include flights from London Heathrow, London Stansted or Manchester, along with a generous luggage allowance also included. A dedicated Fred. Olsen representative will meet you at your destination after you collect your bags and clear customs.

You can now start your holiday even closer to home, with payable domestic flights available on request from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast or Newcastle, connecting seamlessly with London departures. Alternatively, if you would prefer to book your own flights, you can choose our ‘Cruise Only' option. This option allows you to select your flight times and departure airport, and enjoy time to explore a destination before or after your cruise.

Yes, you can pay to select your flight seat if you are flying with Jet2.com, which our friendly Reservations team can arrange for you. All other airlines, we can take requests but these are not guaranteed.

Airport Assistance/Medical Requests

If you require mobility assistance at the airport, and would like to discuss a medical condition that you feel the airline should be made aware of, please call our Guest Services Department on 0800 0355 120 or email guest.services@fredolsen.co.uk. This includes:

• Assistance from check-in to the boarding gate
• Assistance from check-in to the aircraft steps (ambulift)
• Assistance from check-in to your aircraft seat
• Require a seat close to the toilet/exit, due to a medical condition

We have chartered two aircraft with UK based charter airline Jet2.com for our Mediterranean fly cruises. One aircraft will fly to and from London Stansted and the other to and from Manchester. The aircraft are Boeing 737- 800 series with 189 seats.

We have also arranged regional flights from London Heathrow and Manchester to join our Balmoral fly cruises in the Mediterranean. Details of the carrier are to be confirmed.

Regional flights from London Heathrow, London Stansted or Manchester, with a generous luggage allowance, are included in the price of our Fly-Cruises.

For our 2025 Mediterranean fly cruises, your hold luggage allowance is a generous 23kg per person and 10kg cabin baggage (no larger than 56cm x 45 cm x 25 cm).

If you have booked a connecting domestic flight from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle or Belfast, once you've checked your luggage in, you'll next collect it on arrival at your cruise destination. Once you are on board your transfer to Balmoral, your luggage will make its way to your cabin.

Yes, booking extra luggage will be available at a supplement with Jet2.com only. Please visit here where you can arrange this for your booking. When confirmed, your flight information will also be available to view via the 'My Cruises' section of our website.

Yes, you will need to collect your luggage on arrival at your destination airport and take it through customs and immigration. You will then be met by our dedicated representative and taken to your transfer coach with your luggage, which will then be delivered to your cabin by our on board teams.

If you have booked our inclusive fly cruise package, transfers to and from Balmoral are provided, on both our chartered aircraft and regional flights from London Heathrow, London Stansted and Manchester. If you purchased cruise only, you will need to make your own way to and from your ship.

All seats on your Jet2.com and regional flights are in economy class.

Whilst this cannot be guaranteed, we will aim to sit all those guests on the same booking together on your flights for your Mediterranean fly cruise.

You will be able to purchase food, drinks and duty-free items from your airline's in-flight shopping facility when on board your aircraft. You can buy food at the airport after security to take on your flight.

You can take the following medication in your hand luggage:

Essential medicines of more than 100ml, including liquid dietary foodstuffs, inhalers, and medical equipment, if it’s essential for your journey.

You’ll need to carry proof that the medication is prescribed to you (for example a letter from your doctor or a copy of your prescription) if it’s both:

• in liquid form
• in a container larger than 100ml
  
  You do not need to show proof if the medication is either:
• in tablet form
• liquid in a container that’s 100ml or smaller

Airport staff might need to open the containers to screen the liquids at the security point. Medical equipment is screened separately.

Infants must be 12 months old at the date of departure to travel on a Fred. Olsen fly cruise. Infants will not be allocated a flight seat and must sit on the parents lap, and no more than one infant will be permitted to travel with each adult guest.

Any flights booked in conjunction with our fly cruises are non-refundable and non-transferable, so please be sure to book with careful consideration.

We recommend that you take the flight that we recommend as it is a through ticket from your original airport to your arrival destination, where you check your luggage all the way through.
