Mediterranean Cruise Holidays

Our cruise holidays are typically on sale before airlines release details of their flight times, so unfortunately we are not always able to confirm details at the time of booking.

If details are not available when you make your cruise booking, we'll ask you to select your preferred airport (subject to availability), and once we have flight details, they will be advised on your confirmation invoice closer to departure date.

When confirmed, your flight information will also be available to view via the 'My Cruises' section of our website.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to book your own flights, you can choose to book our ‘Cruise Only' option. This option gives you the freedom to select your own flight times and departure airport, and enjoy time to explore a destination before or after you cruise.

We have chartered two aircraft with UK based charter airline Jet2.com for our Mediterranean fly cruises. One aircraft will fly to and from London Stansted and the other to and from Manchester. The aircraft are Boeing 737- 800 series with 189 seats.

We are happy to look at regional departures on an ad hoc basis. These may be subject to flight supplements depending on the flight prices quoted. Airlines release their schedules 11 months prior to departure so we are unable to advise on regional flights until this time.

Jet2.com's hold baggage is a generous 22kg per person and 10kg cabin baggage (not larger than 56cm x 45 cm x 25 cm).

If you booked our inclusive fly cruise package, transfers to and from Balmoral are provided. If you purchased cruise only, you will need to make your own way to your ship.

You’re can take the following medication in your hand luggage:

Essential medicines of more than 100ml, including liquid dietary foodstuffs, inhalers, and medical equipment, if it’s essential for your journey.

You’ll need to carry proof that the medication is prescribed to you (for example a letter from your doctor or a copy of your prescription) if it’s both:

• in liquid form
• in a container larger than 100ml
  
  You do not need to show proof if the medication is either:
• in tablet form
• liquid in a container that’s 100ml or smaller

Airport staff might need to open the containers to screen the liquids at the security point. Medical equipment is screened separately.

Infants must be 12 months old at the date of departure to travel on a Fred. Olsen fly cruise. Infants will not be allocated a flight seat and must sit on the parents lap, and no more than one infant will be permitted to travel with each adult guest.
