Your cruise at a glance

Hand-crafted highlights

Join Bolette on this very special world cruise, crafted by our team of Journey Planners to offer you the chance to witness some of the world’s most impressive scenery, cultures and wildlife. You will be able to visit iconic sites such as Lisbon's Cristo Rei and Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer statues, Sydney’s Harbour Bridge and Opera House, the culturally significant Moai statues on Easter Island and South Africa’s Table Mountain, as well as discovering lesser-known archipelagos such as Robinson Crusoe Island, and Pitcairn Island. Experience the rhythmic beats of the Samba in Rio, and the pulsating sounds of the Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires, witness Magellanic Penguins in their natural habitat and marvel at the beautiful scenes of the Chilean Fjords. The islands of Tahiti and Bora Bora are beautifully unspoiled with swaying palm trees framing the cerulean seas and white sands, while our visit to South Africa will enable you to go in search of the Big Five and learn more about the remarkable life and incarceration of Nelson Mandela.

Highlights

Easter Island

Mysterious and remote islands

Located in the Pacific Ocean, and largest of the Juan Fernandez archipelago, Robinson Crusoe Island was home to the marooned Scottish explorer Alexander Selkirk, and is said to have been the inspiration for Daniel Defoe’s novel of the same name. You'll also have the chance to explore the most remotely inhabited island in the world, Easter Island – also known as Rapa Nui – which is home to the mysterious Moai statues, built between the 10th and 16th centuries to honour the island's ancestors. You'll also cruise to Tahiti and Tonga, paradise islands once visited by Captain James Cook, and the Pitcairn Islands, where many of the inhabitants of the island are descendants of the mutineers on HMS Bounty.

Diverse cultures

On this Bolette cruise, you'll discover an abundance of different cultures throughout the world. When in South America, take the opportunity to experience the Samba beats of Rio de Janeiro, or witness a sultry and passionate Tango in Buenos Aires. During your time in Uruguay, spend a few hours with the Gauchos and learn of their deep connection to living off the land, while in Australia you'll be able to uncover the rich Aboriginal culture that thrives here and understand more of their traditions, identity and heritage. In South Africa, there will be the opportunity to visit many of the places that influenced Nelson Mandela's life, including Robben Island where he was incarcerated for almost thirty years; or enjoy a trip to the wine-making region to learn more about the processes involved in making the renowned wines, and experience a wine-tasting session on board with our Sommelier.

Christ the Redeemer overlooking Sugar loaf bay, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Iconic cities of the world

As Bolette sails into Rio de Janeiro, you'll witness the iconic sights of Sugarloaf Mountain and Ipanema Beach, watched over by the outstretched arms of Christ the Redeemer. Known as the Jewel of the Pacific, Valparaiso is one of the most colourful cities in the world, thanks to its brightly tinted buildings, and is close to many of Chile's vineyards, which produce delicious Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc wines. As you sail into Sydney, join us on Bolette's decks as the renowned Harbour Bridge and Opera House are not to be missed; while  Albany is your gateway to the Rainbow Coast. In Cape Town, take the opportunity to experience outstanding views from the plateau of Table Mountain, or explore the vibrant Waterfront area, before going in Search of the Big Five on safari.
