Highlights

Nordfjord, Norway

Mountains and fjord scenery

Your Norwegian Fjords cruise aboard Borealis will take you deep into the fjords of Norway to witness remarkable mountainous landscapes, serene waterways and roaring waterfalls. As you sail along Lustrafjord, flanked by high mountains rising around the fjord on all sides, you will see lush green meadows and picturesque white-washed churches dotted along the edges of the fjord's deep blue waters. Join us on the decks of your ship to witness the unique UNESCO-listed Urnes Stave Church, a well-preserved historic wooden church with intricate carvings. You will also have the opportunity to experience cruising along Nordfjord with its diverse landscape of fertile valleys and majestic mountains; and be amazed by the awe-inspiring Vøringfoss Waterfall and Nigardsbreen’s glacial beauty.

Kayaking on the Norwegian fjords

Experience Friluftsliv

The combination of a strong sense of community and the surrounding natural environment greatly influences the Norwegian way of life. With outdoor activities and Friluftsliv at its heart, nature plays a major role, and life is about being able to detach from the strains of daily life and taking in nature without damaging or disturbing it. Join us on tours to engage with nature and enjoy activities such as kayaking amidst breathtaking fjordland scenery, fishing in the crystal-clear waters of the fjords or experiencing various outdoor pursuits at Jotumheimen National Park.
