Mountainous Fjord Landscapes
Your cruise aboard Bolette will take you deep into the fjords of Norway to witness remarkable mountainous landscapes, as you glide along serene waterways, interspersed with thundering waterfalls at their most powerful. You will experience cruising along the breathtaking Romsdalsfjord, fringed with lush valleys and charming fjord-side villages en route to Olden, from where it is possible to visit the majestic Kleivafossen waterfall as it cascades down the cliff face; and the Briksdal Glacier, where you can see the ice from across a glacial lake. Steindal waterfall is equally impressive, and offers the chance to walk behind it without getting wet. Scenic cruising of Nordfjord presents the opportunity to see Europe's highest sea cliff, Hornelen.

Take the opportunity to experience the Norwegian cultural concept of embracing outdoor living for connecting with nature and well-being, by joining us on tours to experience outdoor life, including hiking or kayaking amongst remarkable fjordland scenery, or turning your hand to fishing amongst outstanding surroundings. Experience Briksdal Glacier with a local expert, a graduate in geomorphology, who has worked at the site and will show you this famous glacier arm at it's very best; or enjoy a hike from Bergen to a local farm to discover more about traditional farming life in Norway.

We’ve arranged for some wonderful guest speakers to join us for this cruise. They will be delivering a programme of insightful talks and activities to deepen your cultural, artistic and historical understanding of the destinations we will be exploring, well as helping you to enjoy the natural beauty of the places we visit.
Jeanette Yuile
Jeanette boasts over 40 years of Upstream Oil and Gas experience, and as a local Norwegian, she splits her time between Norway and the UK. During your cruise, Jeanette will be hosting a series of talks on Norway’s culture and way of life.
Laura MacFarlane
Former teacher and passionate traveller, Laura will be delivering engaging talks throughout this cruise on how the Norwegians have been able to innovatively scale the fjordland, like the Rauma Railway.
Richard Lovelock
Photographer, Richard Lovelock will be joining us throughout our sailing, ready to assist in capturing unforgettable moments of the destinations we will cruise by.

Visa and health requirements can change at any time. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you check with a professionally qualified source and comply with such requirements. UK passport holders will need visas for certain Fred. Olsen cruise holidays and will be advised at the time of booking. Your cruise booking information will also detail any requirements applicable to your holiday.
On certain sailings we offer two types of cruise fares; Freedom and Saver Fares.
Our single guests feel right at home on board our ships; Fred. Olsen have the reputation of sailing the friendliest fleet afloat.
Disembarking when your ship's at anchor is a very different experience to when it's docked portside. Getting ashore in this instance often involves the use of the ship's tender, which is accessed via the steps of a secure gangway.
