Your cruise at a glance

Hand-crafted highlights

Our Journey Planners have handcrafted this one-of-a-kind cruise from Southampton so that you can follow in the footsteps of renowned historical explorers and follow a course akin to Magellan's first recorded world circumnavigation. You'll have opportunities to see some of the world's most breathtaking panoramas, including the differing landscapes of Chile, cultures, and wildlife, witness the enigmatic Moai statues on Easter Island, and discover some lesser-known gems like Robinson Crusoe Island. Experience the rhythmic beats of the Samba in Rio de Janeiro and the Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires; witness Magellanic Penguins in their natural habitat; and marvel at the breathtaking scenery of the Chilean Fjords as Bolette skillfully navigates through its glacier landscapes before the paradise islands of Tahiti beckon, steeped in French Polynesian myths and legends.

Please note this cruise price does not include flights.

Highlights

Cumberland Bay on Robinson Crusoe Island

Explore lesser-known islands

Your Bolette cruise has been designed to highlight some of the world's lesser-known and remote destinations, like Robinson Crusoe Island, home to the marooned Scottish explorer Alexander Selkirk, who is thought to have inspired Daniel Defoe's novel of the same name, and a refuge for marine life, with calm seas concealing coral reefs and dunes. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the remote Polynesian island of Rapa Nui - Easter Island, steeped in legend and known for its unique Moai statues carved from volcanic rock, said to represent the spirits of the island's ancestors and chiefs. Meanwhile, the virtually unspoiled paradise island of Pitcairn is home to descendants of the HMS Bounty mutineers.

Discover a variety of cultures

This cruise aboard Bolette will introduce you to a wide range of cultures from around the world. When visiting South America, join us on tours in Brazil's cultural capital of Rio de Janeiro, enjoying its Samba beats, or Buenos Aires' sensuous and passionate Argentine Tango. During your visit to Uruguay, you can spend time with the Gauchos and learn about their deep connection with the land; while in Bora-Bora, discover the natural beauty and unspoilt marine life of its lagoon as you catch a glimpse of stingrays; and in Papeete, enjoy taking your first steps in Ori Tahiti, a traditional dance with unique rhythms and sounds.
