Oliver Turpin
Oliver comes from a small town in East Yorkshire, with a background in performing, singing in bands and in the theatre, so he has many years of experience in entertainment in all of its forms.
Oliver began his career at sea on Fred. Olsen’s Black Watch in 2014 as a Photographer and Videographer, but decided to follow his passion shortly after and transferred over to the Entertainment Team, working his way up through the ranks on almost all of the ships in the Fred. Olsen fleet.
At home, Oliver enjoys spending time with his family and friends, his tortoise, taking long walks with his dog and being creative in his home studio, darkroom and workshop. Still a keen photographer, he loves to travel the world, spend time on the oceans and capturing it all through his camera.
Now, as Entertainment Manager, Oliver is able to combine his passions for travel and entertainment, and use his experiences to help create and provide unforgettable moments for guests to enjoy on board our smaller, friendly ships – something he finds extremely rewarding and is very proud of.

Andy Godfrey
Andy joined Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines at the end of 2021, bringing with him some great light entertainment concepts - such as new gameshows, murder mysteries and much more!
Having worked in the entertainment industry for 10 years, Andy has worked in many arenas - such as UK resorts and pantomimes, touring around Army and RAF bases, to working at sea for companies such as P&O and Marella Cruises.
Growing up, Andy wanted two things - one was to be on the stage, and two - for his beloved Norwich City to stay in the Premiership! At least - for now - one out of two isn't bad!
As a child, Andy would often quote or act out scenes from famous films, or tell jokes that he had seen on TV to his friends and teachers, making him very much the “class clown”. From that point on, Andy knew he was destined to find a way onto the stage, and that opportunity came when he was 20 years old and he has never looked back.
Andy’s passion lies in his work, but when he's not on board, he is a huge football fan and even though he moved away from home to pursue his career in entertainment, he still has a season ticket and cheers on “The Canaries” whenever he gets the opportunity.
